Whenever I watch a sunset with other people around, I inevitably watch them slowly leave as soon as the sun crosses below the horizon. When they do this, they miss the best part! It’s only after the sun disappears that the true show begins. That moment when the sun reflects underneath all the clouds. I call this the Afterburn. This particular one was captured over Sunset Lake in Wildwood, NJ one unassuming evening in early summer.
