WILLOWWOOD REBRAND PHOTOGRAPHY

PROJECT: WillowWood Rebrand Photoshoot

DATE: 2025

AREA OF FOCUS: Product, lifestyle photography

BREAKDOWN: WillowWood, a 100+ year old, industry leading, prosthetics design and manufacturing company giving amputees the best possible outcomes was going through a rebrand and was in need of updated photography that matched their new direction. The goals were to highlight the models using their prosthetics in daily life and how easily the products blend into their everyday routines.

Fig. 1: I wanted to highlight the models in motion. Showing off the prosthetic’s versatility, durability, and range of motion was a key point for the project brief.

Sometimes the best photo is the one you didn’t plan for.

There’s no way I can convince you the geese were not paid actors…

This was such a huge and interesting project that I was and am excited I could be a part of. The shooting took three long days, but thankfully the post-processing was simple. Mostly, I was adjusting color and brightness for different weather conditions and masking out distractions in a few photos. Additionally, WillowWood asked for some photos to be in black and white and some to have a desaturated feel to them, but still overall nothing overly edited required. Very grateful to also work alongside the great team over at DD.NYC - hopefully more projects with them to come!
